DJ Mike-L aka Michael L. Pittman born 5-21-70 grew up in the town of Enfield where he started his DJ career at the age of 12, with a record player and a 8-track player. He was a music "loud child" with luv for HIPHOP & R&B with the needles jumping across the record. But as times changed, 1200 technics came into play and that’s when the passion came. With his parents telling him to turn the music down, he knew one day he was going to be a real DJ. He started doing house parties, family reunions, and then went on to his first club - The Little Palace Chateau. "I was then put on the map and made my name DJ MIKE-L." He grew from that point, moved on to radio Soul 92 JAMS Mix Shows and other club venues. The name DJ MIKE-L became bigger. He started doing shows with people like Franchise Boys, Jim Jones, Trillville, Ti, Slick Rick, Rich Boy, Lil Scrappy, Sheek Louch, Crime Mob, just to name a few. He is connected with Ace Ent. based out of Rocky Mount NC and Lucky 12 Records based out of Florence SC. He has put many MIXX TAPES in the Streets and for 2010 - THE UPCOMING MIKE-L BEATZ (recognizing New Artist because it is time to put in all the work to help upcoming artist to progress and get to the next level). He now resides in Charlotte NC and moving his career to the next level. He is looking forward to promoting new artist to join the team "so we all can be a success." Mike plays on Serato - "that I know a lot of DJ’s are against the program but trust me the 1200’s are just a touch away!
